German Cal 13 Baseload at an all time low

This week isn’t exactly a happy week for the consumers of electricity in Germany. On Monday, the German government has announced that it will raise EEG-entgelte, the add-on to power bills for the supporting of renewable energy, to a staggering 52,77 euro per MWh.

Fortunately, the commodity price is continuing its downtrend and has dropped below 47 euro per MWh, the lowest point for year ahead German power since the beginning of 2010.
